WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL LOCATED? 
SKOOKUM takes place in the Brockton Field Complex in Stanley Park, Vancouver BC. Scroll down to view our detail map and for detailed on the best ways to get here visit our Getting Here page.

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL HOURS OF OPERATION? 
Friday: 4PM-11PM 
Saturday: 12PM-11PM
Sunday: 12PM-11PM 
(please note these times are subject to change)

WILL THERE BE LOCKERS ONSITE? 
Stay light on your feet by purchasing one of our lockers to stow your personal items. We provide safe, secure, and easy storage with all-day access so you can come and go to your locker at any time. OK, I’VE PURCHASED MY LOCKER, NOW WHAT? 
When you reserve a locker online, you will receive an email 24 hours before the festival containing your locker location, locker number, and lock combination so you can simply find and use your locker with unlimited access.

ARE THERE IN-AND-OUT PRIVILEGES?
SKOOKUM will allow ins-and-outs for all attendees through the scanning of your registered RFID Wristband. 

CAN CHILDREN ATTEND THE FESTIVAL?
All ages are welcome at our festival! Children ten and under attend for free when accompanied by a full paying guardian. Please be sure to review our Age Verification policy and required documents before you head to site. 

CAN I BRING A STROLLER?
Strollers for infants and toddlers are permitted on the festival grounds. There is also an option to park them in our complimentary bike valet located conveniently outside the festival gates.

CAN I RIDE MY BIKE TO THE FESTIVAL?
You came by bicycle? We like it. We love it. Your reward is FREE and secure bicycle valet. Thanks for being awesome and helping make the festival even more green! You can find this service located just outside Gate 3 (see festival map below for details). 

CAN I BRING MY OWN WATER TO THE FESTIVAL?
We want you to stay hydrated. But as an Ocean Wise Life Partner and #BePlasticWise pledgee, SKOOKUM has a strict NO Single-Use Plastic Water Bottle policy. So, please leave your plastic at home, or better yet, stop buying it all together! We do however, encourage all attendees to bring their empty reusable water bottles (no glass) to the festival. We’ll have filling stations available because let’s face it...Vancouver’s WATER is better on tap.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?
No outside food is permitted. We have curated a number of amazing food options for you at SKOOKUM including Restaurant Pop Ups, Food Trucks, Picnic Baskets + Long Table Dinners so leave your lunch box at home and be sure to check out our Food Lineup.

I’VE PURCHASED A FOOD ADD-ON (PICNIC BASKET OR LONG TABLE DINNER) WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BARCODE? 
Picnic Baskets and Long Table Dinner barcodes will be emailed to the purchaser on Tue Sep 4 at 6:00AM PST. Any purchases after this time will have their barcodes at time of purchase. 

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?
No outside alcohol will be permitted to enter the festival grounds. Alcohol will be available for purchase for guests who are 19+ and have two pieces of valid ID with them. Purchased alcohol can be consumed throughout the festival. Be sure to check out our Craft Beer & Libations Lineup. 

CAN I BRING A CHAIR?
No. This is a general admission festival without seating, which means no one gets to sit in a golden circle, so everyone wins. We’re democratic like that. We have, arguably, some of the best grass in BC.
If you've purchased a VIP ticket, there are VIP viewing decks and lounge spaces with seating and all the amenities you would expect at our two biggest stages.

CAN I TAKE MONEY OUT AT THE FESTIVAL?
There will be ATMs located at various locations on the festival site. 

WILL THERE BE SKOOKUM MERCHANDISE FOR SALE?
A full range of both festival and artist merchandise will be available to purchase onsite throughout the weekend, check out our SKOOKUM merchandise here.

WHAT IF MY PHONE DIES?

WHAT IF I HAVE A QUESTION WHEN I GET TO THE FESTIVAL? 
Customer Service is located onsite at the entry gate and is the go-to location for wristband-related issues.

All bags will be subject to search when entering the festival grounds. 

As an Ocean Wise Life partner event we are reducing our plastic on site so we discourage guests from bringing: Single-use Plastic including Plastic Water Bottles, Plastic Bags or Plastic Straws. We won’t serve them so please don’t bring them. #BePlasticWise

NO Alcohol, drugs or drug paraphernalia 
NO Outside food 
NO Umbrellas of any shape or size
NO Weapons or anything that may be considered to be an offensive weapon.
NO Fireworks, flares, laser pens/pointers, glow sticks or PA laser equipment.
NO Glass containers (eg. alcohol, condiments, soft drinks, water, makeup, perfume/cologne).
NO Professional recording equipment (both video and audio) will be permitted in the festival grounds. Eg. Tripods, GoPros, Selfie sticks/Monopods, Drones, Cameras with detachable lenses and excessive zoom lenses or sound recording equipment.
NO Animals, with the exception of certified guide dogs. 
NO Lawn chairs or camping chairs (our grass is more than awesome to sit on).
NO Flyers, Samples, Giveaways or Promotional Items

NO Tents 
NO Toy Guns, Water Guns or Slingshots

SKOOKUM Festival reserves the right to deem any other item inappropriate. No prohibited item will be accepted at the entry gates for safekeeping.

CAN I PURCHASE PASSES BY PHONE OR AT A PHYSICAL LOCATION?
All passes will be sold via Front Gate Tickets. Festival passes will not be sold at any retail outlets.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY WRISTBAND?
Wristbands shipments have started so be sure to keep an eye on your mailbox! For any questions regarding wristbands or your shipment contact Front Gate Tickets.

Purchases made after August 23 can be claimed at the SKOOKUM Festival Box Office onsite during festival days, or picked up at our Advanced Box Office located at TOPSHOP / TOPMAN in Hudson’s Bay at Pacific Centre from:

I AM AN INTERNATIONAL ORDER, HOW DO I GET MY PASSES?
International orders can be claimed at the SKOOKUM Festival Box Office onsite during festival days, or picked up at our Advanced Box Office located at TOPSHOP / TOPMAN in Hudson’s Bay at Pacific Centre (see above for Advanced Box Office hours of operation).

CAN I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?
As wristbands have started to ship, please contact Front Gate Tickets directly at 1-888-512-7469 to confirm the status of your shipment. 

WHAT IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND BEFORE THE FESTIVAL?
Short answer, don’t. Put it someplace safe where you’ll remember it. If you do, you’ll need to call Front Gate Tickets at 1-888-512-7469 with your order confirmation to process a replacement. Your original wristbands will be voided and reissued at a cost of $20.

CAN I SHARE MY WEEKEND PASS WITH A FRIEND?
It’s nice that you’re generous, but NO. Wristbands are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE. A tampered wristband will be declared void and you will not gain access to the festival.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH A VIP PASS? 
VIP Passes are valid for the duration of the festival and include the following benefits:

  • Exclusive access to the festival site through dedicated VIP gate
  • Raised viewing decks and covered social lounges at the two Main Stages (first come, first serve seating)
  • Exclusive VIP bars with dedicated mixologists serving premium beverage products.
  • Complimentary wine tastings, specialty cocktail sampling and chair massage
  • Exclusive food service options with dedicated vendors serving up daily culinary specialties
  • Flushing, air-conditioned luxury washrooms at locations around the festival
  • Crowd free and priority access to festival merchandise
  • All the regular amenities and experiences of General Admission tickets including in-and-out privileges
     

ARE THERE SHUTTLES AVAILABLE?
You bet! Shuttles are full of cool people and a good way to make new friends, we highly recommend this as a great way to get to and from the festival! Please visit Front Gate Tickets for more detailed information and to purchase passes.

WHERE DO I CATCH A SHUTTLE?
SKOOKUM Shuttles running continuously during festival operating hours to and from just outside the Burrard Street Skytrain station to the festival main gate.

DO KIDS NEED TO PURCHASE A SHUTTLE PASS?
Infants and toddlers that can be held in the parent's arms or lap will not require a pass, any children that need their own seat will be required to have a separate Shuttle Pass.
 

HOW DO I PURCHASE PARKING?
Festival passes do not include a parking pass, this must be purchased separately. Parking is extremely limited in Stanley Park but a small quantity will be available for advanced purchase through Front Gate Tickets.  

CAN I PURCHASE PARKING WHEN I ARRIVE AT STANLEY PARK? 
No, parking passes will not be available for purchase onsite. Plan ahead and purchase in advance through Front Gate Tickets

HOW DO I FIND MY PARKING SPOT? 
Stanley Park will be open to all vehicles during the event, however, festival Parking Pass holders should follow digital signage for “Event Parking”. All vehicles will go through a checkpoint on Park Drive near Avison Way where your pre-purchased parking ticket will be scanned by our parking staff. They will then provide you with a parking dash card and direct you to the appropriate lot. 

Approximately 500 spaces are available to festival goers and only vehicles displaying the appropriate pass will be allowed in the secured event lots. Any other spaces in the Park are on a first come, first served basis and subject to normal parking rates and enforcement.  

Please note that some of the designated lots are approximately a 10-minute walk from the concert site. Accessible parking is available at Lot 5 just north of the concert site, and also at Lot 3 at the south end of the site. Please identify yourself at the Avison Way checkpoint if you require accessible parking (valid accessible parking pass must be displayed.

DOES A VIP PASS INCLUDE VIP PARKING?
No. You must purchase parking separately.
